Pelikan Souverän M400 Black Green Old Style Fountain Pen

The original M400 Green-striped Souverän as it was first introduced in 1982.

The fountain pen listed here is a new old stock pen, dating from the transitional period near the 1998 redesign. Note such original characteristics as the lack of decorative rings near the piston knob, and the single -instead of double- ring on the lower part of the cap, and the green embossed logo. The pen has a nib from the generation that followed, with the two-tone 14kt gold and the newer decoration.

A fabulous pen that will enthuse collectors and users alike.

Please note that, upon request, we can also ship the pen with the original monochromatic 14kt gold nib.

The M400 fountain pens are equipped with 14kt gold nibs, and Pelikan's standard piston filling system. They measure 12.5 cm when capped and weigh 15.3 grams when empty.
