To celebrate their 75th anniversary Aurora released two special limited edition series, one created in vermeil silver and a unique body, while the other is a special color of the infamous Aurora Optima line, an Aurora - Red Optima with gold plated trims.

The Aurora 75th anniversary Optima limited edition has a barrel and cap made of red Auroloide and gold plated trims. 

Technically the pen is based on the Aurora Optima series and it has all the well-loved characteristics including a standard Aurora 18kt solid gold nib, has the Aurora piston filling system, and the much loved slit that allows you to check ink-deposit levels.

This firey red fountain pen has the number 75 engraved on the top of its clip to indicate that it is the commemorative edition, and also has the number of the limited edition engraved on the cap's lower ring .

This is limited edition was released in 7500 pieces in 1994 and comes in a dedicated luxury gift box with a complimentary inkwell.
