Released in the year 2000, this highly decorated fountain pen celebrates the 88th anniversary of Montegrappa.

Delivered in 888 numbered fountain pens, this is a unique limited edition, full of symbolism, marking an important anniversary. The base of the pen is a night blue resin with silver flakes, upon which is set a solid silver cover with extensive decoration reminiscent of the Art Déco period, a period close to the founding and artistic background of the Italian pen maker.

The decoration of the pen extends on both cap and barrel, and consists of intricate engravings on silver, and delicate enamel decoration, a very sensual mixture of linear and curved elements.

The 88th Anniversary fountain pens are equipped with a large 18kt gold nib that has a dedicated engraving, they have an integrated piston filling system, and an ebonite feeder.

Each of the fountain pens comes in a luxury gift box made of wood, that was developed especially for 88th Anniversary edition.
