Sailor Pen introduced a special edition series, executed in elegant pastel colored fountain pens with the theme of Solstices and Equinoxes.

The model selected for this series is the Pro Gear Slim, and each one of the fountain pens features a special color and comes with a dedicated Sailor ink bottle.

Tako is dedicated to the day of the summer solstice, when the Japanese consume octapus praying that their crops will grow in abundance like the legs of the octapus.

The fountain pen is made of high quality PMMA resin in two distinct tones. The main parts of the pen are done in a pastel pink, white the edges of the cap and the barrel are capped with a lighter pink tone with silver metashine. All metal parts, including the 14kt gold nib, are gold coated. The pen comes with a special pink Sailor Shikiori ink.
