A rare original from one of Visconti's early collections, a very elegant new old stock fountain pen.
The Pericles collection was released in the early 1990s and is a very minimal and practical fountain pen that will delight all Visconti collectors.
The Pericles has a streamlined design with very clean lines. The only diversion on an otherwise very minimalistic model can be seen on the clip, with its design meant to work together with the cap as reminiscent of the Ancient Athenian General's helmet.
The barrel and cap of the fountain pen are made of a deep blue acrosilk resin. The clip and all decorative rings are gold coated to match the pen's nib which is is made of gold coated stainless steel. The grip of the fountain pen is made of black resin.
The fountain pen has a cartridge/converter filling system and comes with a converter from the manufacturer.
This is a particularly light fountain pen, that has a length of 14.6cm when capped.
The Pericles fountain pen comes in the original box provided by Visconti for this collection.
