The Pelikan Souverän M625 Dark Red Transparent has a cap and knob made of sterling silver, and a barrel made of transparent deep red acrylic resin. It features an 18kt gold nib and Pelikan's classic piston filling mechanism.

The M625 Dark Red Transparent was released in 2007, and is part of a series that was available for a relatively short span of time. Although this series was not limited in any way, it is now fairly rare and highly sought after.

The M625 is based on the dimensions of the classic Pelikan Souverän M600 fountain pen, but features an 18kt gold nib, instead of the usual 14kt gold nib that we see on the standard, modern M600 fountain pens.

The fountain pen listed here is preowned and shows signs of use on its barrel and its metallic parts, mostly surface scratches that are consistent with the daily use of a fountain pen. It was tested and found to operate flawlessly. It has no broken parts, and no deep dents that would remove from its overall appeal, but as already noted shows wear consistent with use.
