Preowned Visconti Ragtime Blue Celluloid Fountain Pen

The Ragtime is widely acknowledged as the first Visconti collection with a completely original design. 

The first edition of the Ragtime was introduced in 1991, and due to its success, the creativity of the company, and their willingness to experiment with materials, a multitude of iterations flourished. Among them, versions in celluloid, wood, and resins, followed of course by evolutions of the model, in the Ragtime II - among which the pen listed here.

The Ragtime II Blue Marbled Celluloid is one of the editions with the flat ending, and is made of celluloid.

The fountain pen has an integrated piston, with its knob hidden under a blind cap on the back side of the pen. It comes with a two-tone nib made of 14kt solid gold, and has a screw-on cap.

One of the most astonishing features of the Ragtime is of course the vintage-inspired clip, made of beautifully decorated gold coated metal. 

This fountain pen shows no marks of use at all, so we list its condition as mint.
