The Meisterstück stands out in the history of Montblanc as a timeless design that expresses the company's values without compromise.

In 2024 Montblanc celebrates 100 years since the introduction of the Meisterstück fountain pen, and 100 years of continuous commitment to quality, functionality, and design through a special edition inspired by original designs from the 1920s.

The Meisterstück 100 Years The Origin Collection traces its aesthetic routes to the history and the archive of Montblanc, and seeks to revive original colors from the early days of the Meisterstück. The Origin features models in Black, Blue, Green, and Coral, all of them making use of an early clip design.  Solitaire and Doue models explore a metallic-lined sunburst pattern dating to Montblanc's archive from the 1920s. 

The Classique edition comes in a beautiful deep green precious resin and has gold coated metal trims. A closer look will reveal that the cap's resin also shows elegant black and golden swirls. Unscrewing the cap the cap will reveal a nib made of 14kt gold that shows the special engraving "100" indicating this is the anniversary edition. This fountain pen has a cartridge/converter filling system, and comes with a converter from the manufacturer.
