Released in 1993 the Pelikan Souverän M800 Blue Ocean is the definitive first limited edition of Pelikan.

The pen listed here is a new old stock pen in mint condition and comes with the full set of box and papers.

The barrel and cap of the Blue Ocean are made of a transparent blue resin, while its metal trims are gold coated. It has an 18kt gold nib of the PF generation.

The pen is technically identical with the standard Pelikan Souverän M800 fountain pens.

The M800 fountain pens have 18kt gold nibs, measure 14.1 cm when capped and weigh 29.3 grams when empty. They feature Pelikan's integrated piston filling system, and have a practical screw-on cap.
