The Duofold Maki-e Chinese Lions is a unique work of Maki-e art developed on a classic black Parker Duofold Centennial.

On this beautiful fountain pen taka-maki-e technique is applied to create the images of two lions. The lion, a symbol of strength and wisdom is an animal with a deep symbolism, in the Asian cultures among which Maki-e art flourished, but also in many other historic civilization around the world.

The fountain pen is equipped with an 18k gold nib and uses a cartridge/converter filling system.
