Michel Perchin Fleur-de-Lis Yellow Limited Edition Fountain Pen

Michel Perchin, who was Head Workmaster for Peter Carl Faberge from 1885 to 1903, was the catalyst that propelled the Faberge firm to become the world-renowned jeweler of Russian royalty.

The Fleur-de-Lis takes its inspiration from an original Faberge design. Crafted in Europe from .925 sterling silver, each individual piece is engraved on multiple levels. Hard enamel is prepared in small quantities with a pestle and mortar, then hand applied with a quill to the guilloche (engraving). After polishing, the firing process is repeated to re-liquefy the enamel which completes the final surface with a perfect finish. The clip, crown ring and high relief fleur-de-lis patterns are then layered in 22 kt. gold or rhodium.

The fountain pen is cartridge/convertor fill and is enhanced with a solid 18kt gold nib. The totally unique Fleur-de-Lis is limited to a production of only 250 pieces.
