The Taj Mahal, an extraordinary example of Moghul architecture and the most famous mausoleum in the world, was erected in the XVII century by Emperor Shah Jadan as a tribute to his beloved wife who had died during childbirth.

For its prestigious limited edition, Visconti has always drawn inspiration from the most beautiful and refined works of art and architecture in the world, following the thread of the  "Seven Wonders" initiated by the "Uffizi Limited Edition" and followed by the "Alhambra".

Developing its methodological, design, and technological tradition, Visconti now takes pride in introducing the "Taj Mahal", a natural resin fountain pen with very special sterling silver filigree decoration, hand-made according to Indian techniques, and inspired by the wonderful inlaid marbles of the mausoleum.

The design of the pen, with details supporting and fixing the filigree cover, is decorated at the end of the cap and barrel with the stylized profile of the Taj Mahal dome which Mark Twain defined as "a marble bubble going up to the sky" and a symbol of perfection and purity.

Comes in a beautiful briar case with a finely inlaid cover that recalls the wonderful Taj Mahal cenotaphs.
