The Ripple Solid Gold fountain pen is a part of Visconti's tradition of skeletonized pens and is a limited edition of 199 numbered pieces.

The design of the pen is developed around the ripple, the wave, that is created by a stone falling into a pond, which then spreads until it has overrun and altered the whole surface of that body of water.

The Ripple fountain pen has Visconti's classic double reservoir filling system. The twist on the cap was created to guarantee that the filigree on the barrel and cap would be perfectly aligned.

The Ripple pen’s filigree design, cut out of a solid tube of 18kt gold, is only the first step in a lengthy manual process.
