Developed on the basis of the Pelikan M800 the Expo 2000 Technology is part of a mini-series of three limited edition fountain pens dedicated to World Expo 2000, that also features the Nature, and the Humankind pens.

The Expo 2000 Technology was the final pen in this mini-series, and it was released in the year 2000, in a limited production of 2000 numbered fountain pens.

The Technology showcases technological progress and looks to the future. The fountain pen features a deep blue resin, and a gold-coated silver barrel that bears and engraved design inspired by the computer chip, the invention that led to one of the most important technological and cultural upheavals since the invention of the alphabet.

The Pelikan Expo 2000 Technology features all the standard characteristics of the Pelikan Souverän M800.

It has Pelikan's piston filling system, a screw-on cap, and an 18kt gold nib of the generation featuring the "pf" stamp.
