In 2024 Montblanc celebrates 100 years since the introduction of the Meisterstück fountain pen, and 100 years of continuous commitment to quality, functionality, and design through a special edition inspired by original designs from the 1920s.

The Meisterstück 100 Years The Origin Collection traces its aesthetic routes to the history and the archive of Montblanc, and seeks to revive original colors from the early days of the Meisterstück. The Origin features models in Black, Blue, Green, and Coral, all of them making use of an early clip design.  Solitaire and Doue models explore a metallic-lined sunburst pattern dating to Montblanc's archive from the 1920s. 

The Le Grand Doue edition comes in a beautiful deep blue precious resin and has platinum coated metal trims. It has a cap made of platinum coated metal, upon which feature a vintage Montblanc trademark, and the aforementioned sunburst design and comes in a special edition box. This fountain pen has an integrated piston filling system, and a nib made of 18kt gold that bears the mark "100" as a reminder of the model's centennary.
