In 2022 Visconti celebrates the Florentine Renaissance with the fifth limited edition dedicated to Lorenzo Il Magnifico, the most famous of the Medici.

Described as "a prince without a crown", Lorenzo de' Medici was a shrewd politician, a great patron of the arts and a humanist.

Once again Visconti has selected a fine Italian marble: Verzino di Frabosa, characterised by light shades of grey and green, which give the pen delicacy and elegance.

The metalwork is made of aged 925 Sterling silver and is finely chiselled with a Florentine lily motif.

This is an exceptional and exceptionally rare fountain pen, a limited edition of only 188 numbered pieces.

As all Il Magnifico editions this is a larger size fountain pen, that has significant weight due to the materials used, but is very finely balanced.

The fountain faithfully keeps all the technical aspects of Visconti fountain pens that we have come to love.

It has an in-house 18kt gold nib, it uses a power filling system, has the hook safety cap, and Visconti's signature bridge-shaped spring loaded clip.
