Omas F.A.O. 50 Gio Pomodoro Limited Edition Fountain Pen FA0800
The Omas F.A.O. is a limited edition fountain pen released by Omas in 1995 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization.
The pen is based on the classic Omas Paragon style and is made of an interesting green resin highlighted by gold coated metallic details. This is a classic Omas piston filler pen, that has an 18kt solid gold nib with a stamping dedicated to the edition that is based on the logo of the Food and Agriculture Organization. The feeder of the pen is made of ebonite. On a gold plated ring placed at the lower part of the cap we find an engraving of the letters F.A.O. and the years 1945 - 1995 that mark the anniversary. The pen is equipped with the Omas clip in diamond style that for the particular edition carries a special engraving.
A total of 6000 numbered Omas F.A.O. pens were produced.
This is an original, unused, new old stock fountain pen that has never been inked. It comes with the full set of limited edition box and papers provided by the manufacturer. Please note that exterior box of the pen has some damage.
