The Omas Expo 1998 Lisboa Fountain Pen is a limited edition of 1998 numbered pieces released in 1998 to coincide with the last World Exhibition of the 20th century, held at the time in Lisbon, Portugal.
The pen is based on the classic Omas Paragon and is made of a deep blue resin highlighted by gold coated metallic details. This is a classic Omas piston filler pen, that has an 18kt solid gold nib with a stamping dedicated to the edition that is based on the World Exhibition's logo. The feeder of the pen is made of ebonite. On a gold plated ring placed near the pen's grip Omas has engraved the motto of the exhibition "Dive into the Future" - at the same time, "EXPO 98 LISBOA" is engraved on a ring at the lower part of the cap. The pen is equipped with the classic Omas clip with the rolling ball that assists attaching the pen to pockets.
This is an original, unused, new old stock fountain pen that has never been inked. It comes with the full set of limited edition box and papers provided by the manufacturer.
