To celebrate their 100th anniversary Aurora released a special limited edition fountain pen made of silver with a flame engraving and an overcoat of a fiery red semitransparent lacquer.
The Aurora 100th anniversary limited edition has a barrel and cap made of sterling silver engraved in a unique flame design. What really makes this pen stand out though is the intense red color of the lacquer that protects and simultaneously highlights the engraved patter.
Technically the pen is based on the Aurora classic 88 series and it has all the well-loved characteristics including a standard Aurora 18kt solid white gold nib, has the Aurora piston filling system, and the much loved slit that allows you to check ink-deposit levels.
This luxurious fountain pen is engraved with a flame pattern that encompasses the whole body, but also has two rings with arabesque engraving on the lower and higher parts of the cap. The cap is topped with the logo of Aurora again presented in red lacquer.
This is a precious and rare limited edition released in 2019 in only 919 numbered piece to signify 1919, the year of Aurora's birth, and comes in a dedicated luxury gift box along with an ink bottle.
