Moleskine celebrates the work of Akira Toriyama, the manga artist and creative thinker behind Dragon Ball. His work is credited with boosting the popularity of the manga genre in the West, as well as inspiring a new generation of manga artists. Toriyama’s tale about Son Goku and his quest to gather all 7 Dragon Balls has a massive fan base around the world. Son Goku’s heroic journey is one of growth and learning that takes him from childhood to adulthood – an adventure which has spawned numerous spin-offs since the original series in the 1980s.
Moleskine pays tribute to the original epic adventure, in which Goku learns about friendship and overcoming obstacles. Authentic graphics on the notebook's endpapers and familiar backgrounds and scenes of Goku on his way to collect all seven Dragon Balls and summon Shenlong. The expandable interior rear pocket features the iconic Dragon Ball radar from the original series printed on it. The experience is completed by a reusable paper ribbon with various character tools on the back, such as the Dragon Ball radar and the Hoipoi capsule.
