Montegrappa Ducale Murano Sea Rollerball Pen ISDURRIF

The Ducale brand appears for the first time in the 1930s to mark the high-end pens of the Montegrappa Elmo line. The name drew inspiration from the famous Doge’s Palace, one of the symbols of the city of Venice.

Today, the collection's prestige is enhanced with an additional prestigious connotation - Murano - as the antique glass making tradition. The Montegrappa Ducale Murano collection consists of fountain pens, ball-point pens and rollerball pens, created in unique resin with blue, black, and silverish white pearlescent hues to immiteate shades of the Venetion sea. The collection is completed with palladium coated metallic trims.

All Montegrappa Ducale writing instruments come in luxury gift boxes.

Italy's first pen manufacturer, Montegrappa, began manufacturing pens in 1912 in its factory in Bassano del Grappa - a picturesque town along the Brenta River, which flows through Alpine foothills in northeastern Italy.

Utilizing natural resins and precious metals, Montegrappa combines traditional methods such as die-casting with more recent innovations as low-relief engraving to form their precious art objects.

Whether they use colors reminiscent of the old master's paintings or ornamentation suggestive of Baroque palaces, the Italian heritage and romance is infused into each product.
