The Voyager Coral is an iconic fountain pen from the late 1990s, it presents the Voyager in a pure black form interrupted only by two rings of Coral celluloid dramatically popping out, one on the Cap and one on the grip.
Visconti's Voyager pens have a rich but comfortable size, a very reliable 18kt gold nib, and use a cartridge/converter filling system.
The fountain pens measure around 14.3cm capped, but as their barrels and caps are made mostly out of resin they are fairly lightweight and very comfortable to use.
This edition has silver coated metallic details, which include the "bow" clip characteristic of this period of Visconti, and rings seperating the celluloid from the resin. Please note that on the pen on sale here some of the silver-coating of the rings has worn of. The rings are in tact, but parts of them have lost their luster and appear darker.
The nib is made of 18kt gold, and has a two-tone decoration.
The Visconti Voyager Coral Fountain Pen listed here is new old stock, and comes in a period-correct Visconti giftbox, along with a converter.
