The Pelikan M200 Smokey Quartz is a Special Edition released in 2017 and has limited availability.

Already keenly awaited since the launch of the Edelstein® Ink of the Year Smokey Quartz: the color matching series Classic 200.

The shade of color is extraordinary: the naming Smokey Quartz leads to an imagination of a deep brown color version. Actually the color impression of the natural gem stone combines a lighter brown on the edges, which develops to a rather deep-almost-black brown in its core. The different strengths of material dimension in the various product components follow up this effect and lead to a variation of brown-color shades in just one pen. Amazing.

The series Classic 200 Smokey Quartz will be offered as a fountain pen with differential piston mechanism and a ball pen with the well-established push-mechanism. The gold coated stainless-steel nib of the fountain pen M200 is high-polished and shines in sparkling gold. Depending on individual handwriting and preferences, it is available in nib width EF, F, M and B.
