George Parker's curiosity and passion for travel brought him to every corner of the world, which gave him insipiation for iconic designs in the past. Each writing instrument is inspired by the emotional phases that we experience when we travel: Challenge, Exploration, Reflection and by the whole Journey itself.

The Sonnet Special Edition from Parker allows the traveler to capture every special experience on paper. It is in the Parker Sonnet its nature to write full sentences, and thereby enrich the descriptions and experiences with small details.

The fountain pen with dark grey barrel and silver cap also called Stratum is inspired by the emotions created when explorers look at a map and consider the geological formations and the landscape to be explored, the pen also and carries themes similar to those seen on the the Duofold 2018 Limited Edition.

The barrel of the writing instrument is made of grey while its grip is made of stainless steel again in satin soft finish. The pen's cap is made of stainless steel. In the cap is also a graceful engraving plated with nickel palladium. The clip and decorative parts of the cap are rose gold coated.

The Stratum fountain pen has a nib made of 18kt white gold in a special design and uses a cartridge/converter filling system.
