The Montblanc Meisterstück Annual Edition 2003 Venice Carnival Fountain Pen is a rare edition that was released in 2003, manufactured by Montblanc in collaboration with the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory.
The fountain pen has a guilloche-worked barrel made of gold coated metal, and a porcelain cap with gold coated metallic details.
Meissen Porcelain Manufactory provided the exquisitely detailed cap that features a neo-baroque styled Coviello. Naturally, the cap also bears the characteristic crossed blue swords, a trademark of Meissen, and the year this edition was issued.
The fountain pen was developed on Montblanc's popular 144 size, but features an 18kt gold nib.
The top of the cap is decorated with Montblanc's emblematic star. Montblanc's logo is embossed on a ring on the lower part of the cap.
The fountain pen has a cartridge/converter filling system, and comes with a converter in a dedicated luxury giftbox.
