Omas Paragon T2 555 F 75th Anniversary Ballpoint Pen

Technology and classical style meet in the Omas Paragon 555 F T2, creating a timeless, beautiful writing instrument, whose details are evocative of the future. This is a truly exceptional Omas pocket-sized ballpoint pen.

The collection Omas T2 is made of grey smooth polished titanium, which gives the writing instruments a wonderful tactile quality, most befitting Omas' 12-faceted model.

The traditional and classic line of the Paragon, manufactured without interruption since 1930 and until Omas' demise, was re-interpreted in the T2 titanium version, to symbolise the spirit of Man in 2000, Man who although he has been thrust towards a future where the technology is the predominant theme, still seeks out art and beauty.

Titanium, an exceptionally hard material, cannot be mined as found in nature, and so it is extracted from other minerals that contain it. Titanium was first discovered in 1791, but its extraction and utilization only begun in 1825. Due to the difficulty of working with this exceptional material, many attempts to use it have failed through the years.

Omas, confirming the excellent level of technological capability it had mastered, managed to execute the T2 writing instruments in 2000 as part of the commemorative collections for its 75th Anniversary.

The 555 F ballpoint pen is a pocket sized pen, only 12.0cm, and has a girth of 1.2cm at the thickest part of the cap. The barrel and cap of the pen are made of high-grade titanium, while the decorative details are rhodium coated.

The Omas Paragon T2 555 F 75th Anniversary Ballpoint Pen comes in a dedicated gift box especially produced for this collection, along with a dedicated protective sleeve. The pen we are offering here is new from our stock and comes with the full set of box and papers.
